"Black Dog let Led Zeppelin times revive." (Utrecht Roxx Magazine)

"Black Dog is a groovy live-band that presents Led Zeppelins music in a fantastic manner!" (Café Stairway to Heaven, Utrecht).

"Even if you don't like Led Zeppelin it is a great band: They play so good, full of enthousiasme and with pleasure, you just get dragged along!" (Café Rocks, Enschede).

"Black Dog approached the quality as well as the sound of the original very good. An absolute recommendation for Led Zeppelin lovers."(The Clash of the Coverbands).

The audiance get overwhelmed by an unparalelled presentation of Led Zeppelins music on vocals as well as guitar, bass and drums. This work of art is performed by very talented and experienced musicians.

Fred Jaquet Fred Jaquet - Bass
At 7 years old Fred got his first guitar from Frank Kraaijeveld (bassplayer in Bintangs) but it didn't take long before he cut off the two bottom strings and replaced them by bass strings. That is how his musical career started. (besides bassplayer in Black Dog, he also is the bassplayer and lead singer in Big Bam Boom Band.) He started his musical career in Haarlem as singer and bassplayer in a variety of bands. This went from pure hard rock (Second Skin, with Erwin Java on guitar) to moodorchestra (Hydra) and from a bluegrassband (10 Mistakes) and poprock (Spex) to rocktheater (flikkertejatergroep Supertamp and Rocktheater Zuidlaren). Besides all this he participated in mannier sessions (with Bertus Borgers, Kaz Lux, Harry Muskee) and short-running projects (Night Of The Giants with Erwin Java, Adje v/d Berg, Jos Zomer, Inkie de Jong, Harry Kwant and Henkie Torpedo).

Alfred v/d Linden Alfred v/d Linden - Guitar
In the past he could have been seen as guitarplayer in bands like Bintangs, Juniors, Frank Kraaijeveld Band and many others, and now still with Big Bam Boom Band. Alfred is considered as one of the best Dutch rock guitar players. For many bands he did the studio guitar tracks. He is realy fenomenal with a guitar in his hands and is one of the few who can play Led Zeppelin the way it is supposed to. And, just like Jimmy Page, Alfred uses a violinbow to whip the strings of his guitar.

Jan van Bodegraven Jan van Bodegraven - Vocals
In 1972 Jan played with his first band Fire Lane in the Beverwijk area. After that he formed the band Tilt, a nickname he had been given for playing a lot of Pinn Ball, Jantje Tilt. From 1973 till approx. 1979 Tilt made the whole of Rocking Holland unsafe by their brutal stageact of rock and punk music. In 1980 he sang for the symphonic rockband Atomix. But from when he opened his own bar, Hardrock Café Boothill in Castricum, it really went of. Here he formed The Boothill Undertakers and they played throughout the Benelux, we played on the Dutch radio and TV. This band started as a ZZ Top coverband, but graduately their original material took over. This was one of the first Dutch bands to release their own CD in 1988, in their own production, promotion and distribution. In 1990 Jan entered the Hennie Huisman Sound Mix Show, inpersonating Jim Morrison, that took him through a few Dutch theatres and in the end the TV broadcast of the show. After that Jan went on with a band called La Grange, which was more in musical style and appropiate for his voice. Extreme challenges were taken on. Complete unplugged acoustic gigs and orchestrated shows, extended with two female singers, a pianoplayer, 4 horns and a string quartet. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant just released their album Unledded and La Grange carefully tried to copy that. Numerous songs of Led Zeppelin were covered with this orchestra. Big Bam Boom Band played Jans’ area on a regular bases and every once in a while Jan jumped on the stage to sing along with the band. So that’s how the contact was made and when BBBBand decided to do a Led Zeppelin show, Jan was the guy to be asked for the vocals. So Rock & Roll in genaral and Led Zeppelin in special has brought them together.

Wessel van Alphen Wessel van Alphen - Drums
Wessel started to play the drums from a very young age. After a period of putting his attention in an other direction then music, at the age of 25 he was asked to join the band Marktbrothers (who did 60ties and 70ties covers). After that he played with the band Road Apples ( rock covers and later on original material). Since mid 2003 he plays with No Discussion (rock covers). In 2004 he was took on as drummer with the Big Bam Boom Band and from there he practically automatically came to play in Black Dog, being a huge John Bonham fan ofcourse. It clicked from both ways and so now he his the last entred full member of the band.

William Rimmer - Evening, Fall of Day
